Getting the most out of your Heallist account.

Welcome to Heallist! We are grateful to support you on your journey as a healer. In this blog post, we'll cover the ins and outs of how to maximize the features available in your Heallist account - from creating a magnetic profile page to communicating with clients and sharing your Heallist page with your contacts. We’ll provide tips on using various features in order to make managing your services as simple and efficient as possible. So let's dive in and explore a variety of ways that you can maximize your use of Heallist!

Fill out your profile page completely and accurately.

One of the best ways to get the most out of your Heallist account is to make sure that your profile page is filled out completely and accurately. Include as much information about your bio, credentials, and services as possible. The more complete your profile, the more likely potential clients will be to contact you.

Add photos that represent you and your practice.

Start by adding a professionally looking headshot as your profile photo. Read our 10 Tips for Creating a Powerful Professional Profile Photo for a Healer. In addition, include as many photos of your physical location, photos of you providing services or anything else that can contribute to your potential clients getting a clear idea of your services. The photos are a great way to create more comfort and trust in your services among new clients.

Make sure you list all available services.

Be sure to list all available services and packages on your Heallist profile page. This will allow potential clients to see everything you have to offer at a glance and make it more likely they will book a session with you.

You may select from a variety of Service types: 

  • 1:1 sessions - individual sessions clients can select based on your calendar and availability. Make sure to keep the calendar up to date by editing the service availability screen. You always have the option to approve or decline each service, so don’t worry about forgetting certain dates.
  • Group classes - one time or recurring classes that can include groups of up to 100 clients. When adding recurring sessions, you have the option to exclude specific dates, which allows maximum flexibility.
  • Workshops - group engagements set at a specific date, also up to 100 participants. 

All types of Services could be either Virtual or In-person. For in-person sessions, you are able to specify location, while virtual services are performed right from the Heallist account.

You can set a duration, price and number of participants for each service. If you offer various lengths of the same service, make sure to list them separately to address different client needs and budgets. For example - 30 min reiki session and 90 min one, should be listed as separate sessions in your services menu. 

The service descriptions should be as detailed as possible to include everything your clients need to know prior to booking. They are the “selling pages” for each individual service and should also include an image representative of the service to give people the best idea of what to expect. 

Share your profile page link on social media.

Another great way to get the most out of your Heallist page is to share your profile page link on social media networks. This will help increase your visibility and reach a wider audience of potential clients. For example, we recommend adding it in your Instagram bio as a link, as well as sharing it separately in Instagram Stories any time you promote booking your services. If you happen to have a separate personal website describing who you are, add a section mentioning your Heallist profile or a button to book your services. The link can direct clients to your main Heallist profile page, where you have all available services and your potential clients will be able to book it easily right there! 

You can also share each individual Service page with potential clients, by clicking the Share button from that particular Service page. Depending on the case, it might be easier for clients to land on the specific service, especially if you have a long list of services.

Add your page link to your email signature .

Let your contacts know that you are available for an easy online booking through your Heallist profile! Email signatures are an effective way to promote your online presence. Whether you are communicating with your clients or personal contacts, let them know where they can find further info about your services. You can simply add a link URL of your page to the bottom of your signature, or you can get more creative with including a short promo such as “Book your session online” or “Now offering online Booking & Telehealing!”, linking to your Heallist page.

Offer a free short consultation for new clients.

Consider offering a free short consultation for new clients. This will give potential clients a chance to get to know you and see if they would like to work with you before committing to a full session. It will also show that you are confident in your abilities and stand behind your work.

Offer Tele-healing sessions in addition to in-person sessions.

Another great way to get the most out of your Heallist listing is to offer tele-healing sessions in addition to in-person sessions. This will allow you to reach a wider audience of potential clients, including those who live outside of your local area. Keep your services availability up to date.

That way, potential clients can see when you're available and book appointments accordingly. This can help to ensure that you're always booked solid, and that you're not overscheduling yourself. It can also help to prevent last-minute cancellations, which can be frustrating for both you and your clients. Not only does this save you time and hassle, but it also increases the chances of getting repeat business. In today's online world, convenience is key, and making it easy for potential clients to book an appointment with you is a sure way to get more business. In short, by keeping your online listing up to date, you can make the booking process smoother and more efficient for everyone involved. To do so, go to your Profile page and Edit each Service availability to make sure it has correct info. In the future we will be able to offer integrations with popular calendar tools such as Gmail Calendar, in order to help synchronize schedules.

Respond to messages and confirm bookings in a timely manner.

There are many reasons why it's important for wellness professionals to respond to messages and confirm bookings in a timely manner. First, the Heallist booking system requires that sessions be confirmed in order to secure them. If the booking isn't confirmed within 48 hours, the session may be lost. In addition, confirming bookings helps to build trust with clients and lets them know that their business is appreciated. Clients are more likely to continue using a service if they feel confident that their bookings will be confirmed in a timely manner. Finally, responding to messages in a timely manner shows professionalism and respect for clients' time. It sends the message that you're organized and attentive, and that you value your clients' business. Make sure you prioritize the Heallist email notifications in your primary Inbox. If they ever end up in your Spam folder, mark them as “not spam” to avoid that happening again.

Lastly, set up payments to be able to accept bookings.

Clients always appreciate an easy way to pay for services online. Forget checks and payment apps. Our payments system is powered by Stripe, which allows healers to create an account in just a few clicks and connect any bank account for payouts. Once you set up your Heallist payouts, clients are able to book and pay for your services in just a couple of clicks. All of this makes accessing your gifts so much easier.

Remember to fill out your profile page completely and accurately, share your profile page link on social media networks, list all available services and packages, offer a free short consultation for new clients, offer tele-healing sessions, keep your availability up to date, and respond to messages and bookings within 24 hours.
